/timeout

By default, this command requires the Moderate Members permission. This command requires the bot to have the Moderate Members permission.

Time out a member using Discord’s native timeout feature or remove their existing timeout. This fails if they are not in the server.

Syntax

/timeout <user> <duration> [reason] [private-notes] [silent]

Parameter	Information
`user`	The user to time out.
`duration`	The duration for which to time out the user (up to 28 days). If 0, removes the user’s timeout.
`reason`	The reason to log and send to the user.
`private-notes`	A private reason to log (not sent to the user).
`silent`	If true, the user will not be notified of their timeout/timeout removal.
